It supports farmers in making better decisions on key farm operations, reducing exposure to climate risks, and strengthening resilience to shocks such as droughts, floods, and erratic rainfall. For development partners, the technology improves the reach and effectiveness of agricultural and climate resilience programs by enabling scalable delivery, real-time farmer feedback, and data-driven monitoring. It promotes inclusion of vulnerable groups such as women, youth, remote, and low-literacy farmers through localized and simplified information. While challenges such as digital access, literacy, and connectivity exist, ULIZA-WI offers a strong pathway for improving climate-smart agriculture adoption, strengthening livelihoods, and advancing food security and sustainable development goals.
